A successful Mason bee season can sometimes leave you with more healthy cocoons than you need for your own garden. The Crown Bees Bee Buy Back program may give qualifying customers a way to put those surplus bees to good use.

Pollinator Oasis can help you track your cocoon inventory, harvest results, and estimated needs for the next season so you can make a more informed decision about how many bees to keep and whether you may have surplus cocoons available.

In return, participants receive either a Crown Bees gift certificate or a cash payment. Every cocoon that comes through the program is carefully inspected, cleaned, and regionally stored so it can be redistributed next spring to support healthy pollination in gardens, farms, and orchards. It’s a simple way to share the success of a great season while helping Mason bees thrive beyond your own backyard.
